The Team
HORIZON is shaped by the people who show up to hold it. Every facilitator has been chosen for their craft, their warmth and their ability to create space for something real.
We welcome you.
Gumaraa Aboriginal Experience - Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony & Didgeridoo

Gumaraa Aboriginal Experience is proudly based in the Shellharbour region, delivering authentic Aboriginal cultural experiences rooted in the traditions of the Dharawal and Yuin Nations.
Â
HORIZON is honoured to open the retreat with a Welcome to Country, smoking ceremony and didgeridoo experience led by Gumaraa. Their ceremonies are shared to honour Country, respect ancestors, and keep cultural knowledge strong for future generations.

Host.
Chrissy Menzel
Â
HORIZON is created and hosted by Chrissy, brought together from years of lived experience, a deep love of people and a genuine belief that the simplest things often make the biggest difference.

Chrissy has gathered a carefully chosen team of expert facilitators across movement, breathwork, meditation, sound, botanical perfume making and seminars. Each selected not only for their expertise but for the warmth and intention they bring to the space.

At the retreat, Chrissy holds the thread that ties it all together. She leads connection activities, journaling prompts, oracle card readings, and brings her love of nature, music and people into everything she creates.

Expect warmth, honesty, zero pretension and a genuine invitation to show up exactly as you are.
Move.
Georgia Hunter
Â
Georgia Hunter is a movement facilitator, yoga teacher and embodiment guide devoted to helping people reconnect with their sensuality, intuition and self-expression.

She is the creator of Feminine Frequencies: a signature ecstatic movement experience designed to awaken the wild feminine energy within. What began as a love of freeform dance has evolved into a powerful workshop she now shares at festivals across Australia and internationally through her retreats in Mexico and Indonesia.

At HORIZON, Georgia will offer yoga, movement and sound journeys, creating spaces where participants feel safe to soften, open and express themselves.

Jocelyn Brewer is a Sydney-based psychologist, speaker and the founder of Digital Nutritionâ„¢, a framework that explores how we can have a healthier, more intentional relationship with technology.Â
Â
With a Masters in Cyberpsychology, Jocelyn has spent over a decade researching how people live, love and connect in a world that never switches off. She has a rare gift for translating complex psychology into language that actually lands, practical, warm and completely judgment-free.
At HORIZON, Jocelyn will guide us through what it really means to rest and reconnect in a world designed to keep us distracted.Â

Create and play.
Nicole Gordon – Founder, Rose & Co. Botanicals

Nicole is a botanical perfumer, skincare formulator, and founder of Rose & Co. Botanicals, a farm-to-face skincare and natural fragrance brand created from her family's biodynamic property on the NSW South Coast.

Drawing inspiration from the landscape around her, Nicole cultivates, harvests, distils and extracts many of the botanicals used in her creations. Her work is guided by a deep respect for nature, traditional plant wisdom, and the evocative power of scent to awaken memory, emotion and connection.

With formal studies in organic skincare science and natural perfumery, Nicole has spent years exploring the art of fragrance as a sensory experience and a pathway to mindfulness. Her perfumes are crafted slowly and intentionally, blending natural essences to tell stories of place, season and the natural world.

At HORIZON, Nicole brings a warm, grounded approach to her work, inviting others to explore scent not simply as fragrance, but as a ritual of presence, creativity and self-discovery.
Your nature guide.
William Baker - Hike Guide
Â
Will is an outdoor educator and guide with over a decade of experience leading groups through some of Australia's most remote and culturally significant landscapes, from the NSW bush to Kakadu, Arnhem Land and Tasmania.

His background spans multi-day expeditions, youth programs, Duke of Edinburgh leadership, and corporate facilitation, all grounded in a deep respect for Country and the people and stories connected to it. Will holds Kakadu Guide Accreditation and brings genuine knowledge of Indigenous culture, flora and fauna, and bush skills to everything he leads.
Â
On the HORIZON hike, Will creates an experience that is grounded, safe and genuinely memorable. The kind of guide who makes you feel held by nature, not just walked through it.
